2025 ¹ú²úÍâÁ÷Íøschedule release: Packers-Lions, Chiefs-Cowboys and Bengals-Ravens headline Thanksgiving Day tripleheader

  • WHERE: Ford Field (Detroit)
  • WHEN: 1 p.m. ET | FOX

The Detroit Lions will host the Green Bay Packers in their traditional Thanksgiving Day spot to start off the afternoon's slate of games, with the contest set to kick off at 1 p.m. ET on FOX.

The Lions look to continue their string of recent success in 2025 after taking the NFC North division crown each of the last two years and advancing as far as the conference championship in 2023. But after failing to reach their goal of a Super Bowl and starting this fall with new faces at both coordinator positions, there's still a lot to prove in the Motor City.

Meanwhile, the Packers are also coming off two consecutive postseason appearances but have not won the NFC North crown since the 2021 season when Aaron Rodgers was still in town. Quarterback Jordan Love enters his third season as QB1 in Green Bay, and the team's young -- and highly-paid -- signal-caller could bolster his resume in green and gold with another win over a rival.

The Lions swept the season series in 2024, but the Packers took the win in the teams' last Thanksgiving Day head-to-head two seasons ago. In what is expected to be a competitive NFC North once again in 2025, this holiday matchup pits rivals against each other on the national stage.

  • WHERE: AT&T Stadium (Arlington, Texas)
  • WHEN: 4:30 p.m. ET | CBS

The day will continue with a showdown between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Dallas Cowboys at 4:30 p.m. ET on CBS.

One of the games announced ahead of Wednesday's full release, this matchup pits the Super Bowl LIX runners-up Chiefs against a Cowboys team looking to return to the postseason after missing out last year.

The game will mark Patrick Mahomes' debut in Arlington, Texas, and just the second matchup between him and Dallas' Dak Prescott, as Kansas City makes its first Thanksgiving appearances since 2006 against a team that has helped make the day famous for football.

  • WHERE: M&T Bank Stadium (Baltimore)
  • WHEN: 8:20 p.m. ET | NBC

To wrap up this tripleheader of holiday football, the final game of the day will feature the Cincinnati Bengals visiting the Baltimore Ravens for an AFC North showdown at 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC.

The Ravens come into 2025 looking to break through in the playoffs and make a return to the Super Bowl for the first time since they won it to conclude the 2012 season. Meanwhile, the Bengals seek a return to the postseason after missing out the last two years, having finished third and fourth in the contentious AFC North despite back-to-back 9-8 records.

This divisional rivalry has produced some gripping entertainment the last few seasons, including the Bengals' Wild Card Weekend win over the Ravens on a late fumble recovery three years ago, and more recently two dramatic double-digit comebacks by Baltimore last season.

With two-time MVP Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry on one side of the field and Joe Burrow and his pair of star pass catchers Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins on the other, fans could be in for another treat.
